This stony meteorite fell on Thomas Hill, on the Saugatuck Road about 8:00 am, July 10, 1899. According to Mr. Walter Price, this stone came from the northwest and passed within 40 feet of where he was working, striking the ground about 10 rods (165 feet) beyond, in sand, and burying itself to the depth of about a foot and a half.
