Songyuan.

On the afternoon of August 15, 1993 between 2:20 to 3:00 pm local time, the countryside of Fuyu in Songyuan City was witness to a small shower of meteorites. Four meteorites were recovered, the largest weighing 28 kilograms and the smallest 2.5 kilograms. The 28 kg stone created a pit with a depth of 60 centimeters (2 feet). The fall zone is estimated to cover nearly 10 square kilometers. Most of this meteorite resides in the Fuyu Museum, Songyuan. This meteorite was originally known as Fuyu.
